Narrative...

After receiving our audience feedback it was clear that the overall view was that our music video needed some type of narrative to make it less repetitive and add more substance to the video. We decided to take these comments on bored and create a narrative that could fit into our existing concept of footage.

With our existing shots of the forrest and the lake we came up with the idea of our protagonist committing suicide by drowning in the lake. We were inspired by the story of Virginia Wolf and how she committed suicide by putting stones in her pocket and walking into a lake. This concept would fit in perfectly with our existing video and will only mean filming and adding in shots rather than changing the video.
